Creating twisted DuckyTalis fractals with U.F.If you like unusual shapes like this you can try my simple method.
First open any DuckyTalis formula in vdb.ufm
Choose the Mandelbrot Mode. Julia Mode works too.
Maximum Iterations 100
Change the seed as fancied.
Make or choose a fairly complex gradient but not an Apophysis one which will have too many bands. Make dark and pale parts.
Zoom into the fractal somewhere in the middle. Some parts will be more complex than others.
Go to Mapping and choose mt.uxf > Perlin Noise 3D > Turbulence, and use it twice.
There are plenty of other transformations in Mapping.
At the Inside Tab choose something in dmj.ucl.
It's fun to experiment with the different possibilities.
Leave the settings as they come.
When you have found an interesting part to use, duplicate the background layer twice.
Move the gradients for the two other layers, each to a position which gives good results.
Use two different Merge Modes on the two top layers.
Play with the gradient and look ar

Even though my eyes were closed
I could see it-
The skin of my arms prickled,
sweat dripped from my brow.
It was two in the afternoon but…

Their wings fluttered and flashed
yet somehow they moved in slow motion.
I wanted to stand,
wanted to reach out and touch them but…
I couldn't move,
and yet I laughed
ignoring my dry mouth
and the tingling in my feet.
There was a tempest
on the rise
and in my blood.
A sugar rush disguised
as a riot of butterflies
and they were swarming me.
There was a small vial
